Much like generics, I don’t think most code would have to worry about defining their own effects or effects handlers. Having exceptions and async/await not be something that’s built into the language and instead be something that’s built with the language would be really cool. The language could be less prescriptive over how async code is written, perhaps allowing certain codepaths to have strict guarantees on how fibres can be cancelled, for example.

Visual field coverage determines how much of the visual cortex map is stimulated. Larger stimuli (=higher visual field coverage) that cover more of the visual field activate a larger portion. For reconstruction research this matters greatly. When stimuli cover more of the visual field, voxels carry more fine-grained visual information, particularly in early visual cortex. Datasets with larger visual field coverage are therefore generally preferred for reconstruction.
